his qualification has been developed to meet the first aid training requirements outlined by the EYFS.

First aid in the early years setting

Responsibilities of the first aider

Primary survey

Unconscious casualty management

Child and infant resuscitation

Choking

Shock

Wounds and bleeding

Minor burns

Seizures

Allergic reactions

Additional content can be added however additional time will be added and costs may vary.

Who is this for?

This qualification is typically delivered over 1 day. It is ideal for any early years practitioners working in a setting that has existing staff with the QNUK Level 3 award in Paediatric First aid qualification, or similar.

The qualification is also useful for parents or family members and unregulated child carers such as nanny's and Au pairs.

This Course is for a Maximum of 12 people and will require enough room for practical elements and enough room to sit everyone at least 1.5 meters apart in the same room for the purpose of tests
