Who is this for?
This qualification is for those that are interested in, or are required to attend annual training in basic life support. While some learners may be interested in undertaking this qualification for personal development, those working in a GP or dentist surgery may attend to meet industry requirements.
This qualification includes the use of a AED and is aligned to the current UK resuscitation council guidelines.
Pre-Requisites:
This qualification is available to those over 14 years.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees will be required to demonstrate first aid procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing CPR to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.
