The course is suitable for all school staff required to undertake training in line with Benedict's Law. effective in schools from September 2026.

Course Aim: 

The aim of this course is to enable school staff to recognise and respond appropriately to allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, within educational settings. It supports schools in meeting current national guidance and strengthened allergy safety expectations linked to Benedict's Law.

Assessment and Certification


Learners are assessed through self-checks as they progress through the course and an end of course multiple-choice assessment.


On successful completion, learners can download a certificate which can be used as verifiable CPD


NOTE: This online course does not include practical training for the use of adrenaline medication (auto-injectors and nasal spray) or CPR and use of an AED
